and so kor has left.
i was reading through some blogs a few days earlier, and saw on a couple of them that they had mentioned him, whether through a tribute or simple thank-you comments. mm that didnt tell me anything new la, i already knew that he's been a blessing to like so, so many people every and anywhere. but it was really nice seeing all that all the same (:
the days leading to his leaving felt very normal..i knew in fact that he was going to go, and for a long time, but in feeling it wasn't any different from usual. which was good i suppose, the time we had was really fun. he was running everywhere everyday doing everything. sigh last minute stuff (again) haha.
theres so much to miss with kor's departure la. it hasn't really sunk in yet, but it probably will very soon, since he was around alot. infact it is be a big part of everyday living gone, with the room to the right of the stairs left empty and unusually neat.
got to learn how to cope with not having that someone to talk to on the bed into the wee hours of the morning, figure out the bus route to church for days when im on duty, one person less to call when i finish school and need a ride, not having anyone to hide behind when im in no mood for small talk with new people, need to figure out chords on my own when im lost during worship. shopping for the latest cd? who can tell stupid how-they-died stories during "the grinch" at christmas.
can't help the tears, but kor you'll have the time of your life in uni. do what you've been doing all along, make a difference in dartmouth!
you'll be missed by lots of people back home and remembered in prayer don't worry (: confirm you will keep in touch with your buddies and people you care for.
see en's blog too
hope you like the journal!
(:
much love
